National Rehabilitation Hospital
Synergy Medial have supplied our market leading IP Schrack Seconet nurse call solution to the prestigious National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire.
Patients at the new 120 bed facility will be among the most demanding possible due to disabilities that include quadriplegia and brain injury. Such demands will require that the system integrates seamlessly with environmental controls to allow patients control the room environment from their nurse call handset.
Control of the environment can be provided via an IR interface which connects to hospital wide KNK infrastructure. The KNX menu integrated into the patient handset allows further functionality and devices to be added as needed with no additional hardware or wiring required.
Jones Engineering Group (JEG) led the project and under their instruction, Synergy Medical Systems created a bespoke Medical Trunking. The design orientated medical supply units creates a patient bedroom with a homely atmosphere rather than a purely clinical space.
Synergy Medical are a trusted supplier by hospitals and engineering partners all over Ireland.
Jones Engineering Group Testimonial
Robbie Irvin, Operations Director
“We have collaborated with Synergy Medical on many healthcare projects over the years, this is the 2nd instance where we have been in a position to install the Schrack Seconet nurse call following on from the very successful Connolly Satellite Hospital.
We have found the system to offer many benefits in terms of speed and ease of installation. Once the CAT5 cables are tested the 2nd fix components simply clip into place without even a screwdriver. Even this small detail of not needing two screws saves significant time on a large installation such as the NRH.”
Our track record speaks for itself.
