Wicklow Hospice

Wicklow Hospice provides 15 in-patient public beds and a base for the Wicklow Specialist Community Palliative Care Team. It opened in November 2020, following over ten years campaigning and fundraising by the community to build a hospice to meet the county’s needs. It is operated by Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services who have close links to acute hospitals across the region.

This is an extension of our collaboration with Our Lady’s Hospice which has seen almost 100 beds of either new VISOCALL IP #NurseCall or refurbished from an old bus based system which was very expensive to maintain.

The facility also boasts an integrated patient wander and staff attack system and a discreet Schyns Medical Supply Unit built into the bedhead furniture.
